Devil's Thumb is a mountain in the Stikine Icecap region of the Alaska- British Columbia border, near Petersburg. The most famous feature on the Devil's Thumb is the unclimbed Northwest Face. The Northwest Face raises 6,700 feet and has an average angle of 67 degrees. The Northwest Face has a steepness that is uncommon for mountains in North America. The conditions on the Northwerst Face make it the most dangerous mountain to climb on the continent..
